More InfoOur full day trip consisits of a mixture of 'Big Game Trolling' where we use a variety of lures to target whatever species are present at the time, depending on the season. That can range from anything from small 2/3 kilo Skipjack tuna, medium Tuna's, Dorado, Big eye, Albacore, Yellow fin anywhere between 20 to 100kg.avg. and to Blue Marlin avg. between 200 and 300 kilo, and all species in between, we normally start the day off by doing about 2 hours of that, but if the action is hot then we stay with it longer.

Then we pick one of the most productive marks at the time and stop the boat for the 'Bottom fishing' where we fish in average depths of 30 to 60 metres, with a mixture of live and dead baits on heavy tackle, and a couple of lighter rods with baited feathers and paternoster rigs. This mixed style of fishing can produce anything from small Mackerel, Sea bream, Amberjacks, Lizard fish, Bogas etc. to medium sized fish like Bosi Negro, Snappers, Pargo, Amberjacks, Smoothound, Trigger fish, small Hammerheads, Monkfish, Thornback and small rays, to Large fish like Tope, Bigger Hammerheads, very big Eagle/Butterfly/Stingrays, some hitting nearly 300lb. Also we will set up a live bait on floating balloon for any surface feeding shark or wahoo that often get attracted to the boat .

Whilst doing the bottom fishing we hand out the packed lunches .

Then when we have finished the bottom fishing we set the lures up again for the return trolling trip back to port, targeting again the same fish as first mentioned. All in all we do our best each day to catch what we can. some days we're spoilt for choice and can't go wrong, other days we work our socks off and take what we get! - more information about this fishing trip..

Full Days 'Shark/Big Game' Specialist Trip - 7 hours (Big Game trolling & chumming for big sharks)
Price Per: Fisherman - 120,00 euros, Spectator - 60,00 euros. Maximum 5 Fisherman.
More InfoOn the full day 'Shark/Big Game' trip we start the day off by leaving the port heading for our chosen 'Sharking' mark that day whilst trolling a variety of lures to target whatever species are present at the time, depending on the season. That can range from anything from small 2/3 kilo Skipjack tuna, medium Tuna's, Dorado, Big eye, Albacore, Yellow fin anywhere between 20 to 100kg.avg. and to Blue Marlin avg. between 200 and 300 kilo, and all species in between.

Then we stop the boat at our desired mark, normally between 1 to 2 miles off shore depending on the tide,wind direction etc and get straight to work by dropping overboard and drifting one of our own recipe 'chumming' containers, which I would have prepared beforehand. Then we set up a selection of various depth and distanced ballooned and free line Shark baits from the boat in the 'Chum Slick' then, we wait.

The action normally starts anywhere between 30mins. to an hour, but we allow a good 3 and a half hours 'Sharking' time as they don't always go by the stopwatch. In that time we would have set a scent trail of at least 2 to 4 miles long, depending on the conditions.

We do not normally take any shark back with us, just get a few photos of them in the water and cut them free, using special hooks that rust away, but we may take the odd 'Mako shark' as they are very good eating and one of our favorites!.

After that, depending on where we shark fished, we head back to port with the trolling lures set up once again for any extra possible action. - more information about this fishing trip.. (Day of the week varies due to the demand)

Information on private charters:

Price depends on availability and what you want to do i.e. half day or full day, just Big Game fishing for Marlin or Tuna, Jig fishing, just bottom fishing, sharking or a mixture of styles, it’s up to you, but we will always advise you on what type of fishing is producing the best catches at that time.

Remember we want you to catch fish too, it’s our business!!
