My Uncle and me with the 1st Stingray he ever caught
A very nice Eagle Ray caught by Jill a holiday maker showing the lads how it's done, well done Jill.
A Butterfly Ray somtimes called a Marble Ray. A wide wingspan and slim profile makes this one of the best fighting rays you can catch.
A Common Stingray having ots pic. taken just before being released.
Another one of the girls with a small Eagle Ray, this one was quite fat and was heavier than it looks.
A Rough Tail Stingray around 30kgs
One of the best fighting rays is this Butterfly Ray as it's very wide wings give it a lot of power and speed in the water.
Two grinning Scotsmen with a nice Rough-Tail ray, Not as rough as the Bloke holding it though!
Common Stingray.
A nice Skate for dinner, just making my mouth water now thinking of the chips & peas I ate it with.
Another good Stingray
This is what the underside of a big ray looks like while we're getting the hook out.
A young girl called Dianna was responsable for getting my dinner, I remember her well, it scratched her leg but she did'nt complain, a proper angler, well done Di.
As you can see we just gaff these rays in the wing so as not to fatally harm them so we can take out the hook and set them free.
Another happy Fisherman with he's biggest ever catch.
This guy was well pleased with his 80lb+ catch.
A little Stingray still brings big smile.
One of the big Scottish guys again with an even bigger grin!
One of my regular customers whos always ready with a big smile whenever he gets his catch.
